Governance Committee
The primary responsibilities of the governance committee are to define, revise, archive, and uphold the cooperative governance policies of the business. The committee works with the BOD to propose revisions or updates to the Articles of Incorporation or the Corporate By-Laws as deemed necessary by membership. The committee keeps an archive of all passed and amended operating rules. Committee members are present at member and BOD meetings to clarify processes and to help interpret our operating rules as they apply to the meeting topics. The committee provides research to ensure that our internal policies and procedures comply with the state and federal governance requirements of a C corporation.
