Casa Nueva is a unique business. You work side-by-side with the owners so there is no 'Corporate Office' dictating operations from afar. Our tips are shared by all employees in our twice-monthly paychecks, which means the wait and bar staff do not keep them at the end of their shift. All employees (Associates and Worker-Owners) are expected to possess cooperative abilities, respect for others, the ability to complete tasks and to be punctual for their shifts.

We are looking for committed, self-motivated, hard-working, community-minded locavores interested in democratically run, sustainable society as well as sustainable local food culture.  We welcome long-term residents with open arms. 

If you are a quick learner, have a strong work ethic and 2 years or more experience in restaurants, commercial kitchens, agriculture and/or cooperatives, that's a plus.  If you are goal-oriented and interested in working in a fast-paced, high-pressured, self-managed environment, great!  We love people who care about our customers, proper food safety and sanitation and have respect for others' well-being, views, politics, and those who support human rights.
