My favorite part of my coordinator position is cooperative education. This was not the
responsibiltiy of HRC2 before I was hired into the position, but it was a part of Casa that
was falling by the wayside, so I decided to pick it back up again.

I now teach Open Communication Classes to all new hires where we discuss what open
communication means to us and practice the Non-Violent Communcation Model through
experiential learning games. I also do consensus training and meeting facilitation training
for members and trial members and help to plan our annual retreats. 

Spreading the notions of equality, respect, cooperation, sustainability and mutual aide is
what keeps me here.
